Jeremy Boreing is the co-founder of The Daily Wire, which is the home of many political commentators such as Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, and Jordan Peterson. However, he recently announced that he is stepping down as co-CEO of the company, and this instantly brought up many past controversies.
Boreing himself has claimed that he will shift into an advisory role and will be focusing on the creative projects of The Daily Wire, which he revealed in an email to staff on Tuesday. He will still remain as a host of The Daily Wire’s Backstage show, but there are plenty of theories suggesting that this decision might be due to some drama he has recently encountered.

Jeremy Boreing has faced a lot of controversy on Twitter lately, including when he and Candace Owens—another very popular conservative commentator—went head-to-head about her alleged anti-Semitism. Boreing has been splitting the CEO role with a man named Caleb Robinson, who will now become the sole CEO of the company.
Of course, this has sparked a lot of interest in the idea that Boreing could potentially have been forced to step down by some of the other influential voices in the company, who feel that he was leading The Daily Wire in too controversial of a direction.

Boreing admitted in 2020 that The Daily Wire’s success was largely due to the outlet unapologetically leaning into its right-wing views. However, many in its audience have grown tired of Boreing and now believe that he is unfit to lead the company.
“We own our biases,” Boreing said. “We are a conservative news organization. We’re not hiding it. We don’t pretend otherwise.”
